Promoting Science learning among Government School Girls of 13 years and above of age. The reason for targeting only the girl children for the proposed project is that the choice of the girl children while choosing higher education limits them to Arts and Humanities. The enrolment for the Science, Technology, Engineering courses are the choices of the boys, being girls do not have adequate opportunities to understand those and developing an interest is also limited. Having these in mind a mobile-based application developed exclusively for creating a thirst for Technology in Girl children who are studying in Government Schools.
STEM App is promoted by INDIA NGO to address the gender gap and help ensure that women have equal chances to enter, remain, and prosper in the technology industry by encouraging the girl students to obtain 21st’century skillsets necessary to secure jobs globally, and to inspire girls to pursue science and related subjects

INDIA NGO conducted Community Intervention Programme (CIP) in 5 different zones of Chennai City during May 2020- August 2020 to control the spreading of COVID-19 with the support of Greater Chennai Corporation. The Community Intervention Programme was conducted in the identified risk spots in 5 different zones through trained volunteers with exclusively designed communication materials. A big team with 94 out-reach workers (ORW) and 6 Field supervisors worked hard for 4 months to contain the spread of the pandemic. Activities undertaken in association with Public Sector Undertakings & Corporate companies (upto 2022 March)
