Activities undertaken for promoting the Green cover of Sriperumpudhur block

INDIA NGO actively participates in the initiative of the District administration in promoting the Green cover of Industrial estates by undertaking various activities.

Activities in Association with Hyundai Glovis & BDO Sriperumpudhur.

Planted 4700 number of tree saplings in the vacant lands of various panchayats in Sriperumbudur block, jointly with the Block Development office. The BDO provided fencing for all the plants and arrangement of regular watering through Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment guarantee scheme. The activity was supported by Glovis India private Limited. (March 2020)

Activities in Association with SIPCOT & Hyundai Glovis.

The SIPCOT planted Tree saplings in 15.76 Acres of OSR Land in the Industrial park of Irungattukottai. INDIA NGO, maintained the land by adopting scientific Soil conservation measures, plantation of 3000 additional saplings and regular watering. Now the land is becoming a mini forest. Hyundai Glovis India Private Limited supported the activity. (March 2020)

Activities jointly with Indian Oil Corporation

We are working with Indian Oil Corporation Pipe Lines division for various activities in Tamilnadu.
